Due to the Creek Fire, our "Evening in the Sierra" fundraising event and all programming have been postponed until further notice. We hope to provide an update on rescheduling later this month. For those of you who already purchased tickets for the online event, please contact randy@centralcaladaptive.org if you would like a refund. Otherwise, your purchase(s) will be honored when the event takes place.

We invite you to read the following message from our Executive Director about the situation:

Dear Friends:

Thank you all for your kind and supportive words over the past few days. First, we are grateful that all of CCASC’s staff and management are safe and out of the evacuation zones. We are also incredibly grateful for the first responders who have been working tirelessly to protect lives and property.

Unfortunately, some members of our wonderful community have already lost homes and businesses, and many others continue to be burdened by worry and uncertainty. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We do not yet have a clear picture of the status of our facilities located in and around Shaver Lake and at China Peak Mountain Resort. We are hopeful that they will pull through so that we can come back strong alongside the other businesses and organizations in this region. If we have learned nothing else from our participants, it is that an injury is not the end; it is the beginning of a new challenge.

Stay safe, we love you all.
