Adaptive Awareness Day

Saturday, March 1, 2025

What is Adaptive Awareness Day?

Adaptive Awareness Day is an in-person ski day paired with online fundraising. The purpose of Adaptive Awareness Day is to raise awareness for adaptive sports and support fundraising efforts for Central California Adaptive Sports Center.

We achieve this by hosting an online fundraising campaign where people can raise funds with their own fundraising page. Our event fundraising efforts peak with an in-person ski event at China Peak Mountain Resort, March 1, 2025. Fundraising efforts for this campaign continue through March 18, 2025 and make a world of difference in the lives of our participants.

Ways to Participate

You can register for the in-person ski day, the online fundraiser, or both. To make the biggest impact, we recommend participating in both.

Host an Online Giving Campaign

Inspire others to donate and be a part of CCASC's mission from the comfort of your own home. Raise funds as an individual or as a group/team. All funds go toward providing outdoor activities to persons with disabilities in our community.

Step 1: Create your personalized fundraising page and set a fundraising goal. We'll give you all the tools and support to help you reach your goal.

Step 2: Start fundraising to reach your goal by March 18, 2025.

Prizes: The most successful fundraiser will win a top-of-the-line, Black Diamond down jacket.

Registration: Follow the registration link and select "Online Fundraising", its free!

In-Person
Ski Day

This event is held at China Peak Mountain Resort on March 1, 2025.

Our supporters ski or snowboard in costume, participate in a selfie scavenger hunt on the mountain, sell raffle tickets, play games at the base of the mountain, and enjoy FREE pizza and a drink. If you do not have a season pass, you can purchase a discounted lift ticket for $45 during event registration.

Prizes: You can win great prizes in various ways, having the best costume (adult male/female, kids, or group), selling the most raffle tickets, or by participating in a scavenger hunt on the mountain. Other great prizes will be raffled off at the end of the event. Prizes include skis, parkas, backpacks, ski gloves, CCASC hoodies and mugs, and a 2024-2025 China Peak season pass.

Registration:
General $40
Kids (12 & under) $20
+ $45 Lift Ticket (optional)
