About Us

The Central California Adaptive Sports Center (CCASC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit nestled in the Central Sierra Nevada, is dedicated to offering year-round adaptive recreation and adventure programming for individuals with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Embracing individuals and groups of all ages and backgrounds, CCASC integrates the latest equipment and therapeutic recreation practices into its programs. We ensure activities are conducted with professionalism while fostering collaboration with other organizations.

At CCASC, our overarching goal is to provide programming that leaves a lasting impact on the quality of our participants' lives. Our inclusive approach invites the participation of family and friends, empowering participants in their daily lives. Through our programs, we aim to cultivate confidence, improve health, foster independence, and enhance overall well-being, creating positive and enduring effects for our participants.

CCASC's programs are funded in part by an Adaptive Sports Grant from the Department of Veteran's Affairs and by grants obtained through Move United, the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, and the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
