Clothing

The best way to dress for winter activities is in layers so that you can layer up or down depending on weather conditions.

Try to avoid cotton clothing such as hoodies and jeans. Outer garment should be water resistant or waterproof.
Hands
-
1 pair of insulated gloves or mittens. They should have a water-resistant shell. Bring an extra pair if you have them.
Top Layers

1 pair of thermal underwear

1 wool sweater or fleece shirt

1 jacket that is water-resistant or waterproof
Bottom Layers

1 pair of thermal underwear

1 pair of waterproof or water-resistant pants.

1 pair of comfortable pants to change into after skiing
Face/Neck/Head

1 - beanie

1 - prescription glasses/contacts as needed

1 - pair of sunglasses or ski goggles (we can provide goggles if you don't have any)

1 - ski helmet (if you have one, otherwise we will provide one for you)
Feet

1 pair of wool or synthetic socks

1 pair of extra socks to change into after skiing

1 pair of insulated boots for after skiing
Personal Hygiene

1 chap-stick with sunscreen protection
